The Grange Country House Ltd – Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings at The Grange Country House Ltd (“the Venue”). By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Bookings and Deposits

 

1.1 A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit has been received by the Venue and written confirmation has been issued.

1.2 The deposit amount required will be specified at the time of booking.

1.3 All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

 

2. Payment Terms

 

2.1 The balance of the booking fee must be paid no later than the date(s) specified in the booking confirmation.

2.2 Failure to make payment on time may result in cancellation of the booking, with all deposits forfeited.

2.3 Additional charges (including, but not limited to, bar tabs, damages, or additional services) must be settled in full before departure or within 7 days of invoice.

 

3. Cancellation Policy

 

3.1 If the Client cancels a confirmed booking, any deposit paid will not be refunded.

3.2 If cancellation occurs less than 26 weeks before the event/stay, the Client will remain liable for the full booking fee.

3.3 Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by the Venue.

 

4. Use of the Venue

 

4.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring that all guests, contractors, and suppliers comply with Venue rules and staff instructions.

4.2 The Venue reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any person acting inappropriately or in breach of Venue rules.

4.3 No external food or drink may be brought onto the premises without prior written agreement.

 

5. Damage and Liability

 

5.1 The Client is responsible for any loss of or damage to the Venue, its property, or fixtures caused by the Client, their guests, or suppliers.

5.2 The Venue accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings.

5.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

 

6. Force Majeure

 

6.1 The Venue shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including, but not limited to, extreme weather, fire, flood, government restrictions, or industrial action).

 

7. Governing Law

 

7.1 These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

7.2 The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
